About Fan Tab
Fan Tab tracks what it really costs to be an NFL fan: season tickets, seat licenses, yearly price hikes and the streaming subscriptions you need to watch every game.
Why we built it
Teams publish prices in scattered PDFs, seat-license marketplaces and renewal letters, if they publish them at all. Fan Tab puts them in one place for all 32 NFL teams, so you can compare your team with the rest of the league and plan your budget before renewal invoices arrive. We plan to add college football and the NBA next.
How our data is sourced
- Official sources first: team price lists, official seat-license marketplaces and team announcements.
- Reputable news second: outlets such as Sports Business Journal, the Charlotte Observer, The Denver Post and local newspapers that report team figures.
- Every number is linked and dated. The tracker currently cites 67 team-level sources, and every figure shows an "as of" date.
- No estimates. Fan forum posts don't count, and when we can't find a reliable figure we show "not published."
The full method is on how we count, and the raw data is free to download as nfl.json. Read our guides for plain-English explainers.
